VapeXhale Cloud EVO Vaporizer Review
Quick Review
The Good:
Looks pretty cool. Features an all-glass vapor pathway and solid construction. Heats up quickly and provides a very tasty, therapeutic experience. Love the oil/wax compatibility. This vape delivers better dabs than any home unit we've tried. The Bad:
Very pricey. Also you can't pack a lot of herb at once, which means it's ideal for solo use as we were constantly refilling when we wanted to do group sessions. This is definitely a vape we’d recommend if you’ve got the cash to spend. You can add the Hydratube for water filtration for an extra fee, but we think it’s worth it if you’re a true connoisseur.
DESIGN AND AESTHETICS
The VapeXhale Cloud EVO is an update to an earlier vaporizer called the VapeXhale Cloud. The company claims that the vaporizer was completely re-designed to ensure “the healthiest, thickest, and tastiest vapor possible.” The new model comes in a thick black casing unit made from hard plastic that feels really durable and structurally sound. It measures 7” tall by 7” around by 5” deep, about the size of a tallboy can. The glass mouthpieces pretty much double the height of the vape when attached. What’s really impressive is its light weight for its size, only weighing about half a pound.
WHAT DOES IT COME WITH?
One of the things we love most about the VapeXhale Cloud EVO is its simplicity. Much like the Volcano, the Cloud EVO is very easy to set up and operate. The standard kit includes the VapeXhale Cloud EVO Vaporizer, a Power Cord, a very thorough User’s Manual, a glass draw tube and two refillable containers, one for waxy oils, and another for dry herbs. That’s all. No confusing assembly required.
PERPETUHEAT HEATING SYSTEM
VapeXhale designed a state-of-the-art heating apparatus that runs off of AC power to push a current of hot air through your herbs or concentrates. They call this their PerpetuHeat System because the heat is there when you need it, but it’s not constantly pushing out vapor, so you can vape at your own pace without wasting your material. The one drawback to the powerful heating is that the EZ Load chamber is pretty compact, so it requires constant refilling if you’re planning to do group sessions. As with most vapes, this one functions best if you shred up your herbs really finely before loading the cartridge.
GLASS HYDRATUBES & VAPEXNAIL
The VapeXhale Cloud EVO boasts the distinction of being the most “dab-friendly” vaporizer out there. If you get one of their artistic glass Hydratubes, you can get the satisfaction of water filtration, which cools the vapor for inhalation and yields even bigger clouds.
There are four different options of Hydratube to choose from (for an extra $250 apiece):
- Swagger Circ
- Swagger SideCirc
- Swagger Tree
- Swagger SideTree
VapeXhale also offers their patented VapeXNail, a glass dab tube which provides a butane-free and torch-free experience for essential oils and waxes. These are available from the manufacturer for an extra fee based on quanitity. These additional options make the VapeXhale Cloud EVO a great way to get the effects of huge ‘dab hits’ without the annoying burn and coughing that traditional ‘rigs’ inevitably precipitate.
GLASS-ON-GLASS DELIVERY
One of the things we really appreciate about the Cloud EVO is its attention to detail in construction. VapeXhale took the time and effort to design a device that ensures efficient convection extraction as well as clean vapor inhalation thanks to its’ all-glass vapor path. From the point where the heat passes through the EZ Load chamber, through the glass joint to the mouthpiece (or Hydratube), the vapor is only touching glass; this means there’s no plastic or metallic overtones to the vapor, which is one of the major complaints that herb connoisseurs have about balloon bags and silicone whip style vapes.
OVERALL PERFORMANCE
While it seemed to go through our herb a little faster than we’d hoped, we were pretty impressed with the VapeXhale Cloud EVO overall. It heats up within about a minute and delivers on its name with really big, tasty clouds. We found that the waxy oil clouds were actually a bit more robust than the herb clouds, but both provided extremely satisfying results. This is definitely a high-end vape that means you’ll be making an investment, but it offers way more options than the Volcano with identical vapor quality such as the water filtration and the ability to take dabs without harmful toxins invading your lungs.

If you take the price out of the ranking criteria I would rank this vaporizer a 9.5, it is pretty awesome and hard to beat quality wise. I do agree though that the price is nearly outrageous, especially by the time you add on one of the water-pipe attachments. With that being said, judging purely by the quality of the vapor this is has to be one of the best vaporizers out there.
This vaporizer is awesome, it definitely is one of Top 10 vaporizers. I think the only vape that hits harder is the Herbalizer. The Herbalizer has a fan though and can fill balloon bags. I am surprised that VapeXhale left the fan out, because paying this much for a vaporizer that cannot do balloons is kind of hard to justify.
I can’t believe anyone could score this less than a perfect 10. Maybe a 9.8 because it takes a few seconds to heat up and like Robert mentioned the fact that it cannont do balloon bags. But if you are going to rank a vaporizer purely on function and design the Cloud Evo is at the top of the mountain. The flavor is amazing and the results speak for themselves.
I dont know about a perfect 10 but I do think it is a 8.5-9 all day. I wish the glass attachments were cheaper though. I want one so bad, but I guess I am just going to have to wait another or two until I can afford it.
